Directions to tranquility

Potchefstroom lies approximately 115 km south-west of Johannesburg and 50km from Klerksdorp on the N12 Treasure Route. This is about an hour and a half’s drive from Johannesburg. Baillie’s Manor serves as a convenient stopover for travelers en-route to the Northern Cape, Western Cape, and Botswana.

From the N12 (Johannesburg to Klerksdorp)
Turn right onto Govan Mbeki Drive (after passing the Mooirivier Mall).
Continue for 2.3km.
Turn left onto Hennie Bingle Avenue (Mooivallei Estates).
Continue for 0.5km crossing 2 storm water culverts.
Just after the second culvert turn right and continue 50m to the main entrance.

From Thabo Mbeki Drive (Carletonville road R501)
At the Ivy League apartment complex turn left onto Oudeboord Weg (Mooivallei Sports Ground will be on your right).
Continue for 0.4km and turn right at the small roundabout.
Continue for 0.5km turning left at the Baillie’s Manor sign.
Continue 50m to the main entrance.

From Ventersdorp Road (R53)
Turn left onto Chief Albert Luthuli Avenue.
Continue to Govan Mbeki Drive, taking the slipway left.
Turn left onto Hennie Bingle Avenue.(Mooivallei Sign post)
Continue for 0.5km crossing 2 storm water culverts.
Just after the second culvert turn right and continue 50m to the main entrance.

From N12 (Klerksdorp to Johannesburg)

Turn left onto Govan Mbeki Drive just before the Mooirivier Mall.
Continue past McDonalds and KFC for 2.3 km.
Turn left onto Hennie Bingle Avenue (look for the Mooivallei sign post).
Continue for 0.5km crossing 2 storm water culverts.
Just after the second culvert turn right and continue 50m to the main entrance.
